Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad has released Advertisement No. SAC:01:2025 for recruitment of Project Scientist-I and Project Associate-I on temporary basis. A total of 13 posts are available (1 Project Scientist-I and 12 Project Associate-I) in multi-disciplinary fields related to Agricultural Sciences, Remote Sensing, GIS, and allied areas. Candidates with Ph.D./M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc./B.Tech in relevant disciplines can apply. The online application portal will remain open from 02 September 2025 (10:00 hrs) to 22 September 2025 (17:30 hrs). Selection Process
- Shortlisting (if required) based on academic records when large number of applications are received.
- Interview of eligible/shortlisted candidates by the Selection Committee.
- Final selection panel will be prepared based on performance in the interview only (no written test mentioned).
- List of shortlisted candidates and the interview schedule will be published on SAC website; no separate call letters will be sent.
- Original documents with self-attested copies must be produced on the interview day for verification; failure to produce will lead to disqualification.
- Outstation candidates attending interview will be paid to & fro Sleeper Class rail fare / non-AC bus fare as per rules (whichever is less) on production of journey proof.
Pay Scale
Project Scientist-I: ₹56,000/- per month + HRA
Project Associate-I: ₹31,000/- per month + HRA
Medical benefits for self as per rules; leave and other benefits as per DOS/GOI rules. Posts are purely temporary.
